FAQs

Q: Janet, why does GDI’s Income For Life homepage look so scammy?

It does, doesn’t it? God, it’s an insult to our intelligence. Both the product and marketing are genius… but their homepage designs? Can someone say busy? Over-the-top? Enough with the freaking testimonials? The only thing I can suggest is looking past all that. The bare facts are that they are selling domains for $10 monthly. They have a multi-level marketing affiliate program that is easy and profitable. So, um, I don’t know why they choose such an annoying layout for their homepage. My guess is that their designer is an underpaid temp in southern Asia. Whatever.

Q: So this is a legitimate business?
Very much so. The 37th fastest growing business according to Inc. Global Domains International has been DSA registered, which is no small feat.

Q: How much do you make?

It increases monthly. My clients are making referrals of their own, and I am frequently enchanting someone as well. My last paycheck was $6,000.

Q: I’m still confused about Multi Level Marketing. Could you explain that a bit?

Certainly. In fact, allow me to illustrate:

Q: Do I have to purchase GDI's DVD and other promotional materials?

What? No! That's silly. That's just the upper tiers being greedy.

Q: Why, exactly, do you think this business will continue to be a success?

The Internet is growing at a massive pace. More and more businesses need their space on the net, and GDI offers exactly what a new business needs at one price. No "we'll give you more space if you upgrade" or "we'll add more e-mail accounts if you upgrade..."

There's been an increasing demand for access to personal websites that don't look like everyone else's personal websites. My generation is growing tired of Myspace and Facebook layouts. They want a blank page. Something they can work with. GDI will only flounder when that need has been abated, and relatively speaking, we haven't even begun.

Q: Where do I sign?

Here!

The Basics

Global Domains International is a Multi Level Marketing giant. The advantages of selling their product vs. say, Mary-Kay cosmetics or Cutco cutlery, is that the product is digital and instantly delivered to new customers/affiliates, and because the product is a service, you keep on making money on old customers every month like clockwork.

The Product:

• Your own website and domain name. (yoursite.ws) Choosing .ws over .com has several advantages:

1. Many of the memorable and desirable .coms have been taken. There is a much, much higher chance that you can name your website exactly what you want by choosing .ws
2. When you sign up for a .ws domain, you don’t have to a “domain registration fee” on top of the monthly fee. The monthly fee for a .ws domain is always $10, which can be completely negated it you choose to take advantage of the business opportunity.
3. .ws stands for “website” rather than “network” or “organization” or “commercial,” and thus, more flexible with the content.

• Up to ten e-mail accounts. This is especially useful if you want separate inboxes for business, personal, school, your children, etc. Plus, the e-mail accounts correlate with your domain name, so rather than 123@aol.com or 123@yahoo.com, people will be sending e-mails to me@myname.com.

• A sitebuilder. For the more computer-savvy, this tool may be completely unnecessary. (I opted out of using the sitebuilder and built janetiswriting.ws myself.) However for those who want a site but don’t understand html, xml or ftps, but still want their mark on the World Wide Web, the sitebuilder is a wonderful tool. I like that this is offered in the package because many other domain hosting sites charge extra for the sitebuilder.

The Business Opportunity:

GDI has immense potential to be extremely profitable. GDI is how I am paying for college. Affiliates make 50% of the $10 monthly upkeep of the site. For every person I recommend to GDI, I make $1. This doesn’t sound like much, but I also make $1 on whomever that person recommends, and whomever that person recommends and whomever that person recommends. That’s money for referrals I didn’t even have to refer. Essentially, if I refer 5 people, and each of those 5 people refer 5 people and so on, (which really isn’t that much. You hardly need venture out of your family for 5 referrals) my monthly income is $3,150. It isn’t guaranteed that your referrals will be profitable, but with networking, you can be. If you’ve been looking for a legitimate work-from-home venture that doesn’t eat up your entire day, Global Domains International is your answer. Thousands of affiliates across the globe have grabbed this product and ran with it and are making a good living on it. Speaking from experience, I wouldn’t be going to school right now if I weren’t a part of GDI.

Do you need to use this business opportunity? No, you don’t. You can have your domain and e-mail addresses for $10 a month, perhaps your using your site for a business of your own, or you just want to keep in touch with long-distance friends and relatives. The option is open.
